Influence of uniconazole on morphology and gibberellin content in onion

Abstract: An experiment was conducted with different concentrations of uniconazole, a growth retardant, to evaluate its effects on morphology and gibberellin (GA) content in onion. Bulb length, bulb diameter and bulb weight were increased whereas plant height, pseudostem length, leaf length, floral stalk length, dry weight of floral stalk and GA content in onion were decreased with the increase of uniconazole
