Scirpus juncoides was the most important weed speciaes in all the rice cultivars. Perennial weeds dominated over annuals and broadleaf weeds usually dominated over sedges or grasses. Diversity of species increased with the age of crop plant up to 60 DAT when it declined. 5. juncoides was also the most important weed species at all crop growth stages.
