dc.description.abstract | An experiment was conducted using four brand of mist sprayers to compare their performance. The test was carried out in laboratory condition. The purpose of the experiment was to determined the useful discharge rate, effective spray range, effective swath w idth, fuel consumption, noise level and wear and tear of internal moving parts after 50 hours of endurance test of sprayers. Air velocity increased as the speed of shaft increased and air velocity decreased as the distance increased from the blow head. Discharge rate •m.'.eaces with increasing of opening for mist prayer. For better performance of the engine it was recommended that decarbonization of piston crown and cylinder head near spark plug of the sprayer tested should be done after each 100 hours of operation. | en_US |
