Experiments were conducted to evaluate efficacy of seven fungicides to control Alternaria blight of mustard caused by A brassicae and A brassicicola. Bavistin, Benlate at 0.1%, Cuman L, Dithane M-45, Duter, Rovral and Trimiltox forte at 0.2% were applied thrice on the plants at the age of 40, 50 and 60 days. Among them Rovral was found best in reducing disease severity and increasing 1000 seed weight and yield followed by Duter. Maximum reduction of disease severity and increased yield was achieved when the spraying was begun at 40 days of plant age.en_US
