dc.description.abstractA field experiment was conducted during rabi seasons of 1993-94 and 1994- 95 to assess the comparative performance of different mixed crops (mustard, barley and coriander) with chickpea under rainfcd condition. Pure chickpea crop save the highest seed yield of 1.15 and 1.04 t/ha during 1993-94 and 1994-95 respectively. Mixed cropping chickpea (100%) + coriander (33%) or chickpea (100%) + mustard (33%) was more productive and remunerative with 1.30 and 1.26 t/ha grain in chickpea equivalents and with net return Taka 10505 and Taka 10155/ha and benefit cost ratio 2.67 and 2.64, respectively.en_US
