Four foliar fungicides namely, Tilt 100 EC (0.1%), Indar LC-70 (0.1%), Baylcton (0.1%) and Dithane M-45 (0.2%) were sprayed once, twice and thrice at an interval of 15 days to evaluate their efficacy in controlling leaf rust (Puccinia recondita) of wheat (Triticum aestivum) under field conditions by artificial inoculation. All the fungicides significantly (P= 0.05) decreased disease severity and increased grain yield per plant and 1000-grain weight. Tilt spray resulted in maximum reduction of disease severity and increase of grain yield and 1000-grain weight.en_US
