Possibility of vegetative propagation of papaya was studied by culturing apical and lateral shoots in MS media with ail possible combination of NAA (0.186 and 0.372 mg/1) and BA (0, 113, 0.226, 0.452, 0.904 mg/1). The best combination for shoot was 0.186 mg/1 NAA+0.225 mg/1 BA. But the shoots did not elongate properly until 1 mg/1 GA3 was added. | en_US |
