Abstract : Two TPS progenies (HPS-II/67, HPS-7/67) were evaluated using small (< 5 g) seedling tubers under different (nine) planting systems at RARS, Jessorc. Progeny HPS-II/67 showed superiority in performance to HPS-7/67 regarding all the characters except stems/hill. The yield of progeny HPS-II/67 was significantly higher (31.75 t/ha) compared to progeny HPS-7/67. The yield of clump planting varied from 27.81 to 33.58 t/ha which was statistically nonsigniflcnt. The present study revealed that small tubers (<5g) derived from TPS were useful for seed tubers.en_US
